No one can pronounce my name either... give her a catchy way to teach people (I say... Like Carol, with no "C")!

Good idea! And, I though your name was pronounced Are-EL :) Do you hate that it gets mispronounced?

My last name is a name that gets mispronounced! Cant tell you how many times I have hears my name and not know it was me! Ha

{Melinda} My son's name is Micah and no one can spell it half the time. The other half the time they think it's a girl name. I had no idea. Micah is a prophet in the Bible, for heaven's sake! :) Oh well, I like it. And it fits him.

Totally hated my parents while i was in college because of my name...but...it became a great conversation starter and no one forgot me! And I agree with the first commenter... just come up with an easy and memorable way to teach people. I say "It's like Melissa but with an R"... She's a cutie no matter what her name is!!
